According to sources, my country has announced new phosphate fertilizer export quotas for 2024. From March 15, 2024 to April 30, 2025, diammonium phosphate (DAP) will be approximately 5 million tons, and monoammonium phosphate (MAP) will be approximately 5 million tons. is 2 million tons. But the exact monthly quota allocated to each phosphate fertilizer producer was not disclosed.

Phosphate fertilizer exports totaling approximately 7 million tons were divided into three periods:

1. January 1 to April 30, 2024;

2. From May 1 to September 30, 2024;

3. From October 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025.

A large number of exports are expected during the second window period (May 1 to September 30, 2024). In contrast, the first and third export windows are relatively limited in number.

It is reported that the export inspection of phosphate fertilizers will start on March 15, and the inspection time will be about 1-2 weeks.

U expects that due to domestic spring fertilizer application demand, China's exports will be relatively limited in the first quarter, with exports of approximately 300,000 tons of DAP and 150,000 tons of MAP.
